Adding intelligence to site management

Rakuten Symphony is pushing ahead with its site management solutions - adding AI to help field workforces deliver more efficiently.

A year ago, TMN reported on Rakuten Symphony’s work to digitalise AT&T’s site management process. We heard how a load of disparate and non-standardised documentation, systems and software had been digitalised and standardised, leading to much more productive processes in upgrading existing, and rolling out new, sites.

In an update, we then told the story of how AT&T had achieved three to five years’ progress on its site upgrade rollout in just 18 months. We heard how the operator had plans to extend its work with Rakuten Symphony’s software platform.

At MWC 2025 we spoke to Anshul Bhatt, Chief Product Officer, OSS Business Unit, about the work Rakuten Symphony is doing to take things even further and make field workforce teams more efficient by adding AI capabilities to their work processes.

Anshul tells us about the added intelligence that Symphony is adding to its software, enabling field workers to take advantage of image recognition AI to sign off site builds, and to use Gen AI to engage with documentation.
